An Engineer turned Artist!
My inspiration is derived from my Indian culture which is rich in colors and history, nature and real life situations. I try to relate each and every object, material with art. I believe that art can be anything or in any form. I explore or try different kinds of medium such as oil on canvas, digital art, installations, found materials and acrylic paints. Through my artwork, I try to bring innovations by trying, mixing and matching kind of art using different mediums and which also convey messages. My goal is to drive innovation, convey messages and inspire people when they look at my art work, that world is beautiful and beauty will always lie in unusual places. BIOGRAPHY -A brief Snapshot EARLY LIFE AND SCHOOLING I was born in India. Most of my childhood, studies and schooling I completed them in India. I completed a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. While growing up I was attracted towards nature and I used to make drawings, paintings and sketches. With Science and technology, drawings and paintings were playing an important role in my life. WORK LIFE After my bachelors, I worked for an Electronics company for two years in India. But my love for art was never gone, in my spare time I used to make different art and experiment with different materials. After then I got married and I moved to the United States and then I took a big step to change my career from technology to art. Nowadays, I am studying fine arts in college of DuPage and pursuing my passion for art. I worked for the Cleve Carney Museum of Art as a gallery assistant for one year and half years. It was a life changing experience for me. I learnt lots of things which are very important to being an artist. |
